The History of Our Oxford Office

Our attorneys have been practicing in Oxford and Butler County since 1974 when Jim Robinson moved to Butler County and began practicing at a law firm in Hamilton.   

In 1994, Jim Robinson and Susan Lipnicky opened the firm of Robinson & Lipnicky based in Oxford, Ohio. Jim represented non-profit organizations, local businesses, and Oxford area residents in a variety of matters over the last several decades.  Jim raised his family in Oxford and still lives there today.

In 2011, Jim’s daughter, Tara Jones, joined the firm after graduating from law school. Tara was named partner and, later, took over ownership of what would be called Robinson & Jones Law Firm.

Matt Wiseman began working with Jim and Tara in 2018 and in 2021, the firm merged with Treleven & Klingensmith.

The merger allowed our law firm become the go-to place for all of our client’s needs, from former prosecutors with years of courtroom experience, to attorneys with the experience fighting the insurance companies for every dollar you deserve.
